At 360 Virtual View, we love helping businesses showcase what makes them special—and our recent production of a Matterport virtual tour for S & S Plastics was a perfect example of that. Based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, S & S Plastics is one of the countries leading plastic injection moulding companies with a reputation for precision, innovation, and sustainability.

S&S Plastics wanted to give current & potential new customers the ability to explore their factory from wherever they are in the world. This would allow them to provide a clear view of their production capabilities, showcase their range of 25 machines (from 6T to 550T), and highlight their state-of-the-art tooling and vacuum foiling services. This would also allow them to demonstrate their commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.

The virtual tour capture went smoothly with the team at S & S Plastics who were fantastic to work with. They were professional, organised, and genuinely enthusiastic about the project. Using Matterport, we created an immersive experience that allows viewers to navigate the factory floor, zoom in on machinery, and get a real feel for the scale and sophistication of their facility. The tour is even compatible with VR headsets such as Oculus.

This virtual tour is more than just a visual showcase – it will helps S & S Plastics build trust with new customers, demonstrate their capabilities, and take them on a factory tour even when they’re not able to visit in person.
