As we get closer to Christmas Day, if you’ve not already done so, it’s certainty time to start thinking about what we’re going to get the little ones this year. The Toy Box (in Ironbridge & Shrewsbury) is a beautiful, traditional toy shop stocking some lovely toys and gifts. If you’re lacking inspiration, you certainly won’t be any more after spending a bit of time here! But even better than that, there’s no better way to get into the Christmas spirit than the feeling of going back in time to the type of toy shop our parents or grand-parents might remember. If you’re in the area, why not pop in. If you can’t make it in person, you can visit their online shop – thetoyboxironbridge.co.uk
In the meantime, have a look around the virtual tour we did for them a while ago:

The Toy Box, Ironbridge – 34 High Street Ironbridge Shropshire TF8 7AG
Ironbridge is a large village in the borough of Telford and Wrekin in Shropshire, England, UK. The Toy Box toy shop is situated a few yards from the famous bridge itself. Designed by Thomas Farnolls Pritchard and built in 1779, the Iron Bridge we see today was made possible through advances in iron smelting that took place in the century before. Since the 1970s, the bridge has been in the guardianship of English Heritage, and was one of the first places in the UK to be added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
